Primary responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis (static, fatigue and damage tolerance) for primary and secondary aircraft structures using both classical hand calculations and Finite Element Method (FEM).
- Proficient in independently interpreting stress reports, certification documents, and substantiation analyses, quickly gaining deep understanding of the underlying calculation methodologies and engineering techniques.
- Apply scientific principles to innovate, develop, and implement business improvement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international export control regulations.
- Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and customers.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Visual Basic is an added advantage.
- Open-minded and eager to learn new tools, technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications You Must Have *
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautics with 4 years or more relevant experience.
- Expertise in load path, load balance, free body diagram, classical hand analysis methods and Finite Element Method (FEM) used in Aerospace structural analysis using MSC Nastran / PATRAN.
- Understanding of static and fatigue analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of Nacelle Systems for Commercial aircraft programs such as B787, A320neo, A220, A350.
- Certification or training in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance, FEM/FEA, or Aerospace Structures is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
