Patient Care & Assessment

• Conduct pre-HBOT patient assessments and vital sign monitoring.
• Review medical history and contraindications for HBOT.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding HBOT procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patients during and after therapy sessions.
• Identify and report any adverse events or complications.

HBOT Operations

• Prepare patients for chamber treatment.
• Assist in operating monoplace and/or multiplace hyperbaric chambers as per protocols.
• Maintain chamber safety standards and infection control practices.
• Ensure proper documentation of treatment parameters and patient responses.

Clinical Documentation

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment logs.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Safety & Emergency Management

• Adhere to hyperbaric safety regulations and fire prevention protocols.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies within the HBOT unit.
• Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Perform routine equipment checks before treatment sessions.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Assist in maintaining chamber cleanliness and operational readiness.
• QualificationsB.Sc. Nursing / GNM Nursing.
• Valid State Nursing Registration.
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in ICU, Emergency, Critical Care, Rehabilitation, Neurology, or Wound Care preferred.
• HBOT training/certification preferred (training can be provided).
• Skills RequiredStrong patient communication and counseling skills.
• Knowledge of emergency response and basic life support.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
• Preferred CertificationsBLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – preferred
• Hyperbaric Medicine/HBOT Certification – preferred
