Job Purpose:

• Serve as a Senior Technology Consultant specializing in Capital Markets (CM), contributing to core modernization and transformation projects.
• Demonstrate deep domain expertise in financial services during client engagements and effectively communicate and justify proposed solutions.
• Lead and manage a team of technology consultants, delivering large-scale technology programs in the capacity of a Capital Markets Senior Consultant.

 

Work Experience Requirements:

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Broadridge GLOSS development.
• Strong understanding of post-trade processing, settlements, and the trade lifecycle in capital markets.
• Previous working experience with various GLOSS modules is MANDATORY
• Domain expertise in Forex Trading and Derivatives including FX Forwards/Futures, FX Swaps, FX Options, Pricing, Risk, and PnL.
• Solid knowledge of Capital Markets instruments and processes: fixed income, equity, derivatives, and trading lifecycle.
• Familiarity with integration tools and protocols such as SWIFT, FIX, and MQ.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 

Mandatory skills:

Technical:

• Programming Languages: Java, PL/SQL, or .NET.
• SQL Server, Perl Scripting (Linux based)
• Basic DevOps skills
• Financial Knowledge: Expertise in financial services, investment banking, and capital markets is highly valuable.
• Domain Expertise: Familiarity with trade processing, securities, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Other Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Unix shell scripting), messaging protocols (e.g., SWIFT), and understanding of financial market interfaces. 

 

Functional:

• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and gap analysis in OOTB (out of the box) vs custom features
• Agile (Scrum or Kanban) Methodology
• Analytical thinking in finding out of the box solutions with an ability to provide customization approach and configuration mapping
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Should be able to review the test cases and guide the testing team on need basis
• End to end product implementation and transformation experience is desirable

 

Education and experience – Mandatory

• MCA/ BE/ BTech or equivalent with banking industry experience of 4 to 8 years
