Ecommerce Dispatch Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Dispatch Manager to oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment across multiple online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the dispatch team, coordinating with warehouse and logistics partners, maintaining dispatch accuracy, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through efficient order processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end dispatch operations for e-commerce orders.
• Ensure all customer orders are packed, labeled, and dispatched within SLA timelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and customer support teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Supervise and lead the packing and dispatch staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity.
• Monitor order queues across marketplaces and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with courier partners for daily pickups and resolve shipment-related issues.
• Track dispatch performance, shipment delays, and delivery exceptions.
• Ensure adherence to packing standards and quality checks before dispatch.
• Maintain dispatch records, reports, and daily MIS.
• Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with the inventory team to prevent dispatch delays.
• Train new team members on dispatch processes and SOPs.
• Identify process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company policies

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of e-commerce order fulfillment and dispatch operations.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, or inventory software.
• Understanding of courier aggregators and shipping platforms.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce warehouse, dispatch, or logistics operations.
• Experience handling marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify, or other D2C platforms is preferred.
