Assistant Manager - Business Finance
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and STRAP processes, including consolidation, validation, and system uploads (SAP/SAC).
- Prepare and deliver monthly MIS, flash reports, and performance dashboards with accuracy and adherence to timelines.
- Perform detailed variance analysis (Budget vs Actual / Forecast) and provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze profitability across BU / product / customer / geography to enable strategic decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for data collection, validation, and business performance reviews.
- Support preparation of management decks, board presentations, and business case evaluations.
- Drive cost monitoring and optimization initiatives, tracking savings and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to financial governance, internal controls, and reporting standards across processes.
- Contribute to automation, standardization, and digital initiatives (SAP, Power BI, SAC) to improve reporting efficiency.
- Support transition from reporting to insight-driven analytics, enabling decision support for business leadership.
Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com or M.Com from a reputed institution; professional qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, MIS reporting, budgeting, or business finance roles.
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SAC.
- Prior experience in corporate/large organization or shared services environment preferred, with stakeholder interaction.
- Good understanding of financial statements, cost structures, and business drivers, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
