Job Description
Job SummaryAkrati Jewels is looking for a motivated and target-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our in-office sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth by connecting with domestic and international customers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings.
- Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and generate new business opportunities through LinkedIn, email campaigns, B2B platforms, social media, and market research.
- Reach out to prospective clients via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable jewellery collections.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, samples, and pending orders.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Maintain customer data, sales reports, and follow-up records in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business development goals.
- Stay updated on jewellery trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
- Required SkillsExcellent English communication (spoken and written).
- Strong sales, negotiation, and convincing skills.
- Confidence in cold calling and lead generation.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Good follow-up and objection-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Inside Sales, or International Sales.
- Experience in the jewellery, gemstones, fashion accessories, or export industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Alibaba, Faire, or other B2B platforms is an advantage.
