OIC Lead - Job Description

The OIC Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end‑to‑end integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role involves technical leadership, solution design, best‑practice implementation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
- ~10 years IT experience with 5-6 years in OIC.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML transformations.
- Experience with BIP reports, FBDI templates, OTBI.
- Familiarity with VBCS, Process Cloud, and Oracle DB Cloud.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Design & Development
- Design and develop integrations using OIC components such as Integrations,  Process Flows, and adapters.
- Implement integrations for inbound and outbound flows with Oracle ERP, CRM, CPQ.
- Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, BIP, and SaaS integration models.

Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of web services and XML-based technologies.
- Configure and manage OIC Connectivity Agent.
- Expertise with DB, File, REST, and SOAP adapters.
- Knowledge of Application Adapters and configuration parameters.

Solution Architecture & Best Practices
- Apply OIC design patterns and integration best practices.
- Participate in fit-gap analysis and architecture reviews.

Cross-functional Leadership
- Act as a bridge between functional, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Provide guidance to developers and ensure quality deliverables.

Documentation & Quality
- Prepare technical specs, mapping sheets, and design documents.
- Support unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
