Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced MES Werum PAS X Support Engineer to provide application support for PAS X MES platforms in regulated manufacturing environments The role involves incident resolution system administration integrations upgrades and close collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure stable and compliant MES operations
Handson experience with MES PAS X versions 318 and 32 on Windows and Linuxbased environments
Strong experience with MES integrations across Level 2 Level 3 and Level 4 systems including SAP ERP OSI PI LIMS and Kepware OPC
Perform Incident Management Problem Management Change Management and Release Management activities
Provide Level 2 support to business users for MES PAS Xrelated issues
Experience in PAS X system administration including User Terminal and Printer management system configuration and Scales configuration
Experience in new MES PAS X implementations and upgrade projects from requirement gathering through qualification and final delivery
Handson experience with PAS X patches and hotfix installations across multiple sites
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems database knowledge is an added advantage
Ensure timely installation of OS patches and mitigation of security vulnerabilities on servers
Work closely with infrastructure teams and cross functional teams CFTs including external vendors
Strong expertise in PAS X Master Data Parameterization including
Equipment Management User and Rights Management Control Data and Profiles Terminal Management Printing and Reporting Production Units WMS Master Data Service Configuration and etc
Good knowledge of DCS services adaptor creation and related integrations with strong troubleshooting skills
Strong understanding of PAS X functional modules including
Weighing and Dispensing Equipment Management MBR design execution EBR MaterialsWarehouse Management and etc
Proactively support smooth team operations and effective collaboration
Create Knowledge Base KB articles for identified issues and provide knowledge transfer KT to team members to prevent recurrence
Understanding of ISA 88 and ISA 95 standards and good knowledge of ITIL processes
Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation CSV SDLC methodologies 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP requirements
Experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases is an added advantage
