Quality Technician

Job Purpose

To support the Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) quality activities by ensuring products meet required quality standards before dispatch, assisting in inspection processes, and maintaining proper documentation

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting pre-dispatch inspection of products as per defined quality standards and checklists
• Verify fitment, assembly, and functional aspects of products prior to dispatch
• Ensure torque values, specifications, and critical parameters are as per standards
• Support in identifying and reporting defects, deviations, and non-conformities
• Maintain and update inspection records, check sheets, and reports
• Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for detected issues
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality concerns
• Ensure adherence to quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines
• Participate in process audits and improvement initiatives
• Support in handling customer complaints related to dispatch quality, if any

Education and Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience can apply

Skills

• Basic knowledge of quality concepts and inspection techniques
• Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications (preferred)
• Familiarity with measuring instruments (vernier caliper, torque wrench, etc.)
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Good communication and team coordination skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment
