Job Title

Director, Financial Analysis

About the role
The FP&A Finance for APAC leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical oversight across a diverse, multi‑country region spanning ANZ, ASEAN, North Asia and India. This role serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership —translating financial data into insights that drive performance, support investment decisions, and ensure long term financial health.

What you'll do:

  • Work with the business leaders and regional CFOs to develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long‑range financial plans, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals and implementing policies and processes that drive timely, accurate and consistent financial planning.
  • Oversee driver‑based financial modelling, variance analysis, consolidated reporting, and the review of financial statements and performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Articulate APAC’s financial position to Corporate Finance and Global Business Segment leaders while driving continuous improvements in financial modelling methodologies and reporting frameworks.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to guide business decisions, capital allocation, and investment priorities; work closely with the APAC business leaders and CFO to influence financial strategy and corporate priorities.
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly financial reviews, strategy and long‑range planning decks, while overseeing the Management Information System (MIS) for the APAC Merchant business to ensure reliable data and insights.
  • Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, developing KPIs and dashboards for executive review while supporting key APAC initiatives such as sales‑to‑revenue conversion, headcount allocation, and country‑specific investments.
  • Drive a people‑centric transformation culture by strengthening AI adoption within the Finance team—reducing fear of automation, fostering experimentation, and promoting cross‑functional sharing of AI/automation best practices in line with enterprise standards.
  • Manage and mentor a team of FP&A managers, senior analysts, and analysts, while recruiting, training, and developing finance talent to foster a high‑performance culture.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 15+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or corporate finance, including regional or multi-country responsibility in a complex corporate environment.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and management reporting for senior leaders.
  • Partnering with senior executives (e.g., CFO, business heads) to inform strategic decisions and drive financial performance.
  • Managing and developing teams of finance professionals across multiple locations or functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and improve driver-based financial models, analytics, KPIs and dashboards using financial analytics tools.
  • Proven experience leading adoption of new technologies and implementing AI and automation solutions within finance or related functions.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in fintech, payments, software-as-a-service (SaaS) or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise planning and reporting tools (for example, Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data visualization platforms.
  • Experience supporting merchant acquiring or broader payments businesses across multiple APAC markets.
