This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. The addition of this new, non-billable position based in India within Oracle’s Health and AI Database Services Team is a significant step forward in improving our healthcare services in the dynamic multi-tenant cloud environment.

To support the vision, we are building a platform that manages end-to-end lifecycle, from provisioning to upgrade to terminate and provides a self-service cloud experience to the customer. We are looking for passionate Site Reliability Engineers who possess Oracle Database Deep End-to-end Troubleshooting skills, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Database, Data Management (SQL Performance management, Partitioning, Compression), Exadata expertise, Oracle GoldenGate expertise, and high-scale Database issue analysis skillsets, along with expertise in any of these skills: DevOps, PLSQL, and Python.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Software, Electronics, Operational Research, or Computer System Engineering.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts.
• Experience in building highly available services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols.
• Experience with production operations and best practices for deploying quality code in production and troubleshooting issues when they arise.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, focusing on shipping scalable, cloud-native distributed systems.

• 1+ years of experience with observability platforms, including Grafana and other open-source monitoring and observability tools.

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in AI/ML with a focus on RAG-based solutions and Generative AI applications.

• 1+ years of experience in OCI
• 1+ years of experience and working knowledge in scripting languages like Python, PLSQL, Perl, and/or Shell Scripting.
• 1+ years of experience in the development, management, and organization of Golden Gate replication.
• 1+ years of experience in a scripting language such as Python, Perl, and/or Shell Scripting.
• 1+ years of experience in development in PLSQL.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specifications, architecture diagrams, and presentations).
• Understanding of the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools like Shepherd and Terraform.
• Knowledge of CI/CD Platforms and components such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools like Ansible and Chef.
• Knowledge of version control using Git.
• Experience in Maximum Availability Architecture & Best Practices for Oracle Database & Exadata.
• Understanding of REST Architecture and JSON is a plus.
• Building and managing Linux OS systems with good understanding how the Linux kernel works (IO, Network, etc.) and ability to read and understand source code.
