Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Vendor Sourcing: Finding, evaluating, and onboarding reliable suppliers.
- Price Negotiation: Comparing quotes to secure the best pricing and payment terms.
- Order Processing: Reviewing internal requisitions and issuing Purchase Orders (POs).
- Delivery Tracking: Monitoring shipments and coordinating with the stores team to ensure goods arrive on time and undamaged.
- Invoice Verification: Reviewing supplier bills against deliveries and coordinating with accounts for timely payments.
- Stock Management: Monitoring current inventory levels to prevent material shortages or overstocking. [1, 2, 3]
