Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the plating department.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timeline.
- Monitor and maintain plating quality as per company standards.
- Optimize electroplating processes to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
- Monitor chemical bath parameters and ensure proper maintenance.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
- Investigate plating defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of plating chemicals.
- Maintain production reports, chemical consumption records, and daily MIS.
- Train and guide plating operators and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Support new product development and plating trials.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase productivity.
