Job Description
- Project Planning & ExecutionExecute construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Coordinate daily site operations to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor project milestones and report progress to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all work complies with approved quality standards and construction practices.
- Site SupervisionSupervise civil, structural, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, and finishing works.
- Guide contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and skilled workers.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved structural and architectural drawings.
- Inspect workmanship and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Quality ControlConduct quality inspections at every stage of construction.
- Verify reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plastering, and finishing works before execution.
- Ensure all materials meet project specifications.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Material ManagementPrepare material requisitions based on the project schedule.
- Verify quantities and quality of delivered materials.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Maintain material stock records and coordinate with the purchase department.
- Contractor & Labour ManagementAllocate daily work to contractors and labour teams.
- Monitor labour productivity and attendance.
- Ensure adequate manpower is available for planned activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for smooth execution.
- Safety ManagementEnsure compliance with site safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report and investigate accidents or unsafe conditions.
- Measurement & BillingMeasure completed work quantities.
- Verify contractor bills and prepare running account (RA) bills.
- Maintain measurement books (MB) and site records.
- Assist in project cost control and billing documentation.
- Site DocumentationMaintain daily site progress reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Record labour attendance, material receipts, and equipment utilization.
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
- Client & Consultant CoordinationCoordinate with clients, architects, structural consultants, and MEP consultants.
- Attend site meetings and implement agreed action points.
- Resolve technical issues raised during execution.
- Ensure client requirements are incorporated as approved.
- Equipment & Resource ManagementMonitor the utilization of machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance to avoid downtime.
- Plan resource allocation to meet project timelines.
- Project MonitoringTrack daily progress against the approved schedule.
- Identify delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain productivity and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Handover & Close-OutPrepare snag lists and ensure all defects are rectified.
- Coordinate final inspections with the client and consultants.
- Assist in project handover documentation.
- Ensure successful completion and handover of the project.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project completed within the approved timeline.
- Zero major quality defects.
- Compliance with safety standards and zero major accidents.
- Efficient material utilization with minimal wastage.
- Accurate reporting and documentation.
- Timely contractor billing and measurements.
- High client satisfaction and successful project handover.
