Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a Finance Executive to support our day-to-day finance operations, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, documentation, and basic compliance activities. This role involves working closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to help ensure financial processes run smoothly and records are well maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Invoicing & Billing
- Prepare and issue client invoices based on project milestones or agreed terms.
- Monitor invoice status and payment receipts.
- Assist in resolving invoice-related queries or corrections when needed.
B. Collections & Follow-ups
- Follow up with clients on pending payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Send payment reminders and coordinate with internal teams on outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile incoming payments and maintain accurate records.
- Support resolution of payment-related issues.
C. Vendor Payments & Management
- Process vendor invoices and assist with timely payments.
- Verify invoices against supporting documents where applicable.
- Maintain vendor records and help reconcile payable accounts.
D. Compliance & Documentation
- Support MSME-related documentation and compliance activities.
- Assist in maintaining statutory records and tracking renewal dates.
- Stay updated on relevant government schemes or compliance requirements with guidance from the finance team.
E. Document Management
- Help prepare and organize contracts, agreements, and financial documents.
- Maintain an organized digital document repository.
- Coordinate document approvals and signatures with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track renewal or expiry dates for key documents.
F. General Finance Support
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports and financial summaries.
- Support the finance team with routine administrative tasks and special projects as required.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Around 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounts, invoicing, collections, or similar roles.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Zoho accounting software.
- Familiarity with MSME compliance, GST, TDS, or related financial processes is an advantage.
