Job SummaryChanakya University is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical infrastructure across the university campus. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in electrical systems, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and contractor management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day operation and maintenance of the campus electrical systems.
• Supervise HT/LT electrical installations, transformers, substations, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical panels.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply across academic buildings, hostels, administrative blocks, and utilities.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and emergency breakdowns.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with BESCOM, contractors, AMC vendors, and statutory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Supervise electricians and maintenance technicians.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Support electrical works for new projects, renovations, and campus expansion.
• Candidate RequirementsDiploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance of large campuses, commercial buildings, hospitals, industries, educational institutions, or IT parks.
