Job SummaryEon Fitness is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production & Procurement Executive to support the manufacturing of gym equipment and fitness accessories. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, purchasing components from local markets and vendors, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring smooth production activities within the manufacturing unit.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of fitness equipment components, fabrication materials, hardware items, and manufacturing processes.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor ManagementIdentify and source materials, components, and accessories required for manufacturing gym equipment.
• Visit local markets and vendors to procure materials at competitive prices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.
• Compare quotations and obtain management approval before purchasing.
• Inventory & DocumentationMaintain purchase orders, invoices, bills, and vendor records.
• Track material consumption and stock availability.
• Coordinate with stores and production teams regarding material requirements.
• Maintain proper records of all purchased items and expenses.
• Prepare procurement reports and material requirement lists.
• Production CoordinationCoordinate daily with the manufacturing team regarding production schedules.
• Monitor the availability of raw materials and accessories required for production.
• Ensure materials are issued to production as per requirements.
• Follow up on manufacturing progress and update management regularly.
• Coordinate between design, production, and procurement teams.
• Assist in production planning and execution.
• Quality & Process MonitoringVerify that purchased materials meet required specifications.
• Monitor production activities and report delays or issues.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Support quality inspections during manufacturing.
• Required QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in procurement, manufacturing, production coordination, or purchase management.
• Freshers with strong knowledge of manufacturing and purchasing may also apply.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of gym equipment, fitness accessories, fabrication materials, hardware, and industrial components.
• Vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Preferred SkillsExperience in fitness equipment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, powder coating, machining, upholstery, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with local industrial markets and suppliers in Bangalore.
• Salary₹20,000 – ₹22,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
