Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations across our business. The ideal candidate is proficient in Tally, has working knowledge of GST and TDS provisions, and can independently handle books of accounts through finalisation.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Accounting

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally including journal entries, ledger postings, and voucher management

• Maintain sale register, purchase register, cash book, and bank book on a regular basis

• Deduct TDS at the time of payment to vendors as per applicable rates under the Income Tax Act

GST Compliance

• Prepare monthly GST working and reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B

• Generate e-invoices and e-way bills in compliance with GST regulations

Financial Reporting

• Prepare periodic Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets for management review

• Support year-end finalisation of books of accounts

Vendor Management

• Obtain and reconcile balance confirmations from vendors periodically

• Resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts in coordination with the purchase team

Skills & Competencies Required

• Proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 — mandatory

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word

• Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and document drafting

• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles

• Ability to write clearly and professionally in English — for correspondence, confirmations, and reports

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet compliance deadlines

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience

• Prior experience in a CA firm or trading/manufacturing business preferred
