Field Service Engineer

Installation & Commissioning: Set up, test, calibrate, and commission new hardware, software, or machinery at customer premises to ensure technical specifications are met.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Diagnose technical faults, perform on-site repairs, and replace faulty parts to minimize equipment downtime.

Customer Training: Demonstrate to clients and end-users how to safely and optimally operate the equipment, and advise on basic cleaning or preventative care.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of service visits, test results, and equipment inventory. Prepare technical and site progress reports for company executives and clients.

Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to site safety protocols, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure all installations meet regulatory standards.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree, B.Tech, or Diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Science).
• Experience: Typically 1 to 3+ years in field service, commissioning, or a related technical support role (requirements vary by seniority).
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering diagrams, schematics, and wiring blueprints.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, professional communication, and strong customer-handling skills to manage client expectations during stressful equipment breakdowns.
• Mobility: A high degree of flexibility and a willingness to travel extensively to customer sites across a specific region
