Primary School Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Social Studies Teacher to educate students on history, geography, civics, economics, and current affairs. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, foster critical thinking, and inspire students to understand the world around them while meeting curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum.

  Teach subjects such as history, geography, political science, and economics.

  Encourage student participation through discussions, activities, and projects.

  Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and exams.

  Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.

  Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades.

  Communicate with parents and school administration regarding student progress.

  Integrate multimedia and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.

  Stay updated with current events and incorporate them into lessons where appropriate.

  Participate in school events, workshops, and staff meetings as required.

Requirements:

  Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Geography, or a related field.

  B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).

  Proven experience as a Social Studies teacher or in a similar teaching role.

  Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  Passion for teaching and the ability to connect with students of different age groups.

  Familiarity with the school’s board curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, etc.).

  Ability to use digital platforms and educational technology effectively.

  Strong research, planning, and organizational skills.

  Empathy, patience, and creativity in teaching methods.
