Position: Receptionist / Front Office Executive Department: Front Office & Administration Reports to: Director / Office Manager Type: Full-time

Role SummaryThe receptionist is the first point of contact for The Rankers Academy. The role covers front-desk management, handling student and parent enquiries, supporting admissions, and keeping daily office operations running smoothly in a busy coaching environment.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesGreet walk-in students, parents, and visitors warmly and direct them to the right person or department.
  • Attend all incoming calls, answer enquiries about courses, batches, timings, and fees, and maintain a daily enquiry/call log.
  • Handle admission enquiries: explain batch options (STAR / ALPHA / Foundation), share fee structure, collect documents, and pass qualified leads to the counselling team.
  • Maintain student attendance records, fee receipts, and front-office registers.
  • Coordinate with faculty and the operations team for scheduling, classroom readiness, and parent meetings.
  • Manage the reception area, notice board, brochures, and study-material distribution counter.
  • Receive and route messages, couriers, and visitor requests.
  • Support exam-day and event logistics (seating, forms, hall management) when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and institute records.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate in any discipline (12th pass with strong experience also considered).
  • Fluent in Hindi and Marathi; working English communication.
  • Pleasant, professional, and patient demeanour with students and parents.
  • Basic computer skills: MS Excel, Word, email, WhatsApp Business.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to multitask during peak admission/exam periods.
  • Prior front-desk, school/college office, or coaching-institute experience preferred.

Working Hours:. 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 6 days a week
