Brazing Operator

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform brazing operations on copper, brass, stainless steel, and other metal components as per drawings and specifications.  
• Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions, and brazing procedures.  
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces before brazing to ensure proper joint quality.  
• Select suitable filler materials, flux, and brazing equipment for different applications.  
• Inspect brazed joints for quality, leakage, and strength.  
• Operate and maintain brazing tools, gas torches, and related equipment safely.  
• Follow quality standards and safety procedures during production.  
• Troubleshoot brazing defects and take corrective actions.  
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet daily targets.  
• Maintain records of completed work and report any issues to the supervisor.  

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in brazing operations.  
• Strong knowledge of brazing techniques, materials, and filler alloys.  
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand welding/brazing symbols.  
• Experience in leak testing and pressure testing is an added advantage.  
• Good knowledge of safety practices related to gas handling and hot work.  
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and gauges.  
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Welding, or relevant field preferred.
