Collection/Recovery Manager

Collection/Recovery Manager is responsible for managing collection and recovery operations, ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments, minimizing delinquency, and maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The role involves leading collection teams, monitoring recovery performance, and coordinating with customers, legal agencies, and field executives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and supervise collection and recovery activities for assigned portfolios.
2. Develop and implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve recovery rates.
3. Monitor collection performance against targets and prepare periodic MIS reports.
4. Lead, train, and motivate collection executives, telecallers, and field recovery staff.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company recovery policies.
6. Handle escalated customer cases and negotiate repayment arrangements.
7. Coordinate with legal teams, external agencies, and field personnel for difficult recovery cases.
8. Review aging reports, overdue accounts, and recovery trends.
9. Conduct regular audits of collection processes and documentation.
10. Maintain accurate records of recovery activities and customer interactions.
11. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual collection performance reports.
12. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance collection efficiency.
