Computer Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Hardware Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware systems and components. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test computer hardware components and systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and perform repairs or replacements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor hardware performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to ensure hardware compatibility.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware architecture and components.
• Experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Understanding of networking concepts and peripheral devices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in computer hardware support, maintenance, or engineering is preferred.
• Certifications related to hardware and networking will be an added advantage.
