Job Description
- Coordinate with clients to collect project requirements and design inputs.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor design work within the team.
- Guide and mentor team members to ensure quality project execution.
- Review, approve, and issue design drawings and technical documents.
- Prepare design calculations, project estimates, URS, BOQs, quantity surveys, and tender documents.
- Develop project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure all project submissions are accurate, error-free, and comply with applicable standards.
- Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and site visits as required.
- Prepare project reports and post-construction documentation.
- Standardize engineering drawings, templates, and design documentation.
- Keep the team updated on new technologies, products, and industry practices.
- Train, mentor, and support new team members.
- Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Architecture or related discipline).
- 5–10+ years of experience in engineering design, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design standards and project documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant design software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
