Job Title: Purchase / Accountant

Department: Finance & Procurement

Location: kathawada

Reports To: Owner


Job Summary


We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Purchase / Accountant to manage procurement activities along with accounting responsibilities. The role involves handling vendor coordination, purchase processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.


Key Responsibilities

Purchase Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms

Prepare and process purchase orders

Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details

Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials

Coordinate with vendors for quotations and follow-ups

Ensure cost-effective purchasing and quality compliance

Accounting Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchase, expenses)

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts

Prepare invoices, bills, and payment vouchers

Assist in GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance

Maintain proper documentation for audits

Support monthly and yearly financial closing

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com preferred)

1–4 years of relevant experience (purchase + accounts)

Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy Accounting Software, or Zoho Books)

Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation

Good negotiation and vendor management skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in handling both procurement and accounting roles

Knowledge of inventory management

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Salary Range

₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month (depending on experience and location)
