Technician Helper

The Wireman will assist the Field

Technician in carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair activities

for broadband, fiber, and DTH connections. The role involves field support

for wiring, material handling, and ensuring smooth execution of daily service

tasks as per Airtel’s operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the technician during

installation and service activities at customer premises.

Handle internal and external wiring

for broadband and fiber connections as per standard layouts.

Assist in routing, tagging, and

securing cables neatly and safely.

Carry tools, materials, and assist

with preparing the site before and after installation work.

Check continuity of wires and assist

in troubleshooting basic line or wiring issues.

Coordinate with technicians and field

supervisors for daily job schedules.

Maintain cleanliness and order at the

work site and ensure proper material usage.

Follow all safety procedures and wear

required PPE during field work.

Ensure customer satisfaction by

maintaining polite behavior and professionalism.
