CNC Milling Operator

We are looking for experienced CNC Milling Operators with strong knowledge of engineering drawings and hands-on experience in 3-axis and 4-axis milling operations. The candidate should be capable of independently operating CNC machines, understanding machining requirements from drawings, and maintaining quality standards during production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling machines for precision machining components.
• Work on 3-axis and 4-axis milling operations.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T symbols, and machining requirements.
• Set tools, offsets, work coordinates, and basic machining parameters.
• Operate machines with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls.
• Ensure components are machined as per drawing and quality requirements.
• Check dimensions using basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.
• Coordinate with CNC programmers, supervisors, and quality team for smooth production.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, tool condition, and safe working practices.
• Report machining issues, tool wear, program corrections, or drawing-related doubts immediately.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of CNC milling machine operation experience.
• Strong drawing reading knowledge is mandatory.
• Experience with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls.
• Experience in 3-axis and 4-axis milling operations.
• Basic knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, inserts, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of aerospace/precision engineering components will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• ITI / Diploma / equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Should be disciplined, quality-focused, and willing to work in a production environment.
• Should be able to follow process sheets, inspection requirements, and production instructions.
