Job Description
MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY ENGINEER
Department
Electronics Production
Reporting To
Production Supervisor
Job Purpose
Responsible for mechanical assembly of electronic systems, sub-assemblies, and related production activities as per engineering drawings and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of electronic products and subsystems.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Follow quality procedures and production standards.
- Maintain production records.
Technical Skills
- Mechanical assembly and fitting.
- Assembly tools handling.
- Knowledge of tolerances and measurements.
- Reading engineering drawings and SOPs.
- Use of Vernier caliper, micrometer, and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of torque-controlled assembly.
Preferred Experience
- Precision assembly environment.
Qualification Requirement
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience Requirement
- 1–2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.
- Experience in electromechanical assembly preferred.
Hands-on experience using assembly tools, fixtures, and gauges.
