Job Description
Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer with experience in the Control Panel Manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and achieving sales targets for electrical control panels and industrial automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial sectors.
- Promote and sell MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD, APFC, Control Panels, and Industrial Automation Solutions.
- Meet customers, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end-users to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers in coordination with the proposal and design teams.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Track project opportunities and participate in tendering activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Electrical Control Panels and Industrial Automation.
- Understanding of MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD, APFC, and SCADA systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
- Educational QualificationDiploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience2–3 years of experience in a Control Panel Manufacturing Company (Mandatory).
- Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or proposal engineering for electrical panels and automation projects.
- Preferred ExperienceExperience dealing with industrial customers, OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and system integrators.
- Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi, L&T, Allen-Bradley, and other industrial automation products.
- Familiarity with tendering, costing, and proposal preparation.
