Job Description

 

A Helper in a transportation or logistics company supports the primary safely loading

and unloading goods, organizing cargo, verifying delivery accuracy, and

assisting with customer service at drop-off points. They ensure smooth, efficient, and safe delivery operations.

🚚 Cargo Handling & Loading

  • Load and Unload: Physically lift, move, and arrange packages and heavy goods into and out of the delivery vehicle.
  • Weight Distribution: Assist in properly stacking and securing items to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
  • Inventory Verification: Check goods against manifests or invoices to ensure the correct items are loaded.

Safety & Maintenance

 

  • Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to company safety protocols, including wearing required gear and safely operating loading tools like dollies or pallet jacks.
