Collection Team Leader

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of collection executives to achieve monthly recovery targets.

Monitor daily collection activities, productivity, and performance metrics.

Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

Ensure adherence to collection policies, banking regulations, and compliance standards.

Handle escalated customer cases and support team members in resolving complex accounts.

Analyze collection reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve recovery rates.

Maintain discipline, attendance, and quality standards within the team.

Coordinate with management and other departments to ensure smooth collection operations.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

Train and mentor new hires and support continuous skill development within the team.

Specific Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.2–5 years of experience in banking collections, recovery, or related field.

Minimum 1 year of team handling experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and achieve assigned targets.

Good knowledge of collection processes, delinquency management, and customer handling.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and basic computer applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to work in a target-driven environment.

Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members for improved performance.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in DRA/Banking Collection Processes.

Knowledge of skip tracing and field collection management.

Excellent reporting and stakeholder management skills.

Strong focus on team productivity, compliance, and customer service.
