Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our woodworking manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has an expert-level understanding of wood processing, custom furniture or cabinetry making, and a proven track record of creating accurate cutting lists and operating panel saws. You will be responsible for streamlining production, ensuring quality control, and maximizing material efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting List & Optimization: Generate, read, and interpret complex architectural drawings and shop drawings to create precise raw material cutting lists. Ensure optimized yield to minimize waste and material costs.
• Production Planning: Plan, schedule, and organize daily/weekly production workflows to ensure deadlines and volume targets are consistently met.
• Quality Control: Enforce strict quality assurance standards. Inspect raw materials and finished woodwork for defects, precise dimensions, and structural integrity before dispatch.
• Inventory & Resource Management: Monitor inventory levels of wood panels, hardware, and consumables. Manage budgets and prevent material shortages.
• Machine Knowledge: Well-versed in operating heavy woodworking machinery, specifically Sliding Table Panel Saws, Beam Saws, and Edge Banders.
