Job Description:
- Managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Supervising warehouse staff, supervisors, operators, and helpers.
- Planning and allocating manpower to meet production and delivery schedules.
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records.
- Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular stock audits.
- Ensuring timely loading and unloading of materials.
- Coordinating with production, procurement, logistics, and sales departments.
- Implementing warehouse safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
- Monitoring the performance of warehouse equipment and arranging maintenance when required.
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Controlling warehouse costs and improving operational efficiency.
- Training employees on warehouse procedures, safety, and company policies.
- Ensuring compliance with company rules, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse productivity and accuracy.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational targets.
