• Key Roles and Responsibilities
• 1. Electrical System DesignDesign and develop vehicle electrical architecture.
• Create wiring harness layouts and electrical schematics.
• Select electrical components such as relays, fuses, connectors, sensors, and controllers.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and safety requirements.

2. Battery and High-Voltage Systems

• Support integration of lithium-ion battery packs.
• Monitor battery performance and safety parameters.
• Work with Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Analyze battery charging and discharging behavior.
• Ensure safe operation of high-voltage circuits.

3. Motor Controller Integration

• Integrate motor controllers with the vehicle system.
• Validate communication between battery, controller, and motor.
• Troubleshoot issues related to power delivery and vehicle performance.
• Optimize efficiency and energy consumption.

4. Wiring Harness Development

• Design and review wiring harness routing.
• Prepare harness drawings and BOM (Bill of Materials).
• Verify connector compatibility and durability.
• Support manufacturing and assembly teams.
• 5. Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles.

Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools.

Analyze wiring issues, sensor failures, and communication faults.

Support field service teams in resolving customer complaints.

• 6. Vehicle Testing and Validation

Conduct electrical system testing.

Perform endurance, reliability, and environmental tests.

Validate charging systems and vehicle functions.

Prepare test reports and corrective action plans.

• 7. CAN Communication and Electronics

Work with the Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol.

Monitor CAN messages using CAN tools.

Troubleshoot communication between ECUs.

Validate software and hardware interfaces.

• 8. Charging System Development

Support onboard charger integration.

Verify charging performance and safety.

Investigate charging failures and connector issues.

Ensure compliance with charging standards.

• 9. Documentation and Reporting

Create electrical drawings and technical documents.

Maintain test reports and validation records.

Update engineering change documents.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams.

• 10. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work with mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Support new product development projects.

Participate in design reviews and root cause analysis.
