Role OverviewThe Business Development Associate – Field Sales is responsible for visiting schools, converting leads, negotiating commercial terms, and closing deals for education solutions such as Innovation Labs, Robotics, Coding, and STEM programs.
This role requires a self-driven field sales professional capable of managing the complete sales cycle independently while maintaining strong relationships with school decision-makers.
- Key ResponsibilitiesField Sales & School VisitsConduct daily school visits for lead generation, follow-ups, and conversions
- Meet principals, coordinators, and management to present solutions
- Deliver in-person presentations and demos
- Lead Conversion & Deal ClosureManage the entire sales process from initial contact to final closure
- Identify school requirements and propose suitable offerings
- Drive consistent follow-ups to ensure deal closure
- Negotiation & Commercial DiscussionsNegotiate pricing, timelines, and terms within approved guidelines
- Address objections professionally and close deals confidently
- Proposals, Documentation & CoordinationShare proposals, quotations, and agreements with schools
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up until agreement signing
- Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and execution
- Relationship Management & ReportingBuild strong long-term relationships with schools
- Submit daily field visit and sales reports
- Update lead status and progress regularly
- Candidate RequirementsEducationGraduate in any discipline (MBA or Sales/Marketing preferred)
- Experience1–4 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales, or institutional sales
- Experience in education / EdTech / training sales is an advantage
- Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Confident in interacting with senior school stakeholders
- Target-oriented with a strong closing mindset
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Additional RequirementsTwo-wheeler mandatory for daily field visits
- Laptop mandatory for presentations, proposals, and reporting
- Willingness to travel across assigned territories
