Account Executive (Accounting)

About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting internal audits, and preparing comprehensive financial reports to support strategic business decisions.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Management

• Maintain and manage the full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and on time
• Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and financial records on a monthly and annual basis
• Manage payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance

Audit Management

• Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external audits from start to finish
• Prepare and organize all audit documentation, schedules, and supporting evidence
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth audit processes
• Identify financial discrepancies, irregularities, or risks and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure all audit findings are addressed and remediated within defined timelines

Financial Reporting

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Generate management reports and financial summaries for leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure all reports comply with applicable accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS)
• Monitor budgets vs. actuals and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
• Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing with regulatory authorities

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations
• Implement and strengthen internal control systems to minimize financial risk
• Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification preferred: CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, auditing, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books
• Strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and local tax regulations
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
