Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a competent and experienced Accountant with strong proficiency in Tally software and core corporate accounting practices. The ideal candidate will be fully capable of independently managing daily financial entries, reconciliations, and routine tax compliances.

Note on Export Documentation: Prior experience handling export documentation (LCs, Shipping Bills,etc.) is preferred but NOT mandatory. We are fully prepared to provide comprehensive training on the export-specific workflows for the right accounting professional.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Core Accounting: Manage and maintain complete company accounts in Tally Prime / Tally ERP, ensuring precise daily entries for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal vouchers.

• Financial Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, party ledgers, vendor ledgers, buyer accounts, and other critical financial records to ensure data integrity.

• Taxation & Compliance: Assist efficiently in GST filing, TDS deductions, routine banking operations, and the generation of internal MIS reports or administrative tasks as assigned.

• Commercial Coordination: Liaise professionally with local and international buyers/vendors regarding accounts, pending payments, outstanding balances, and debit/credit notes.

• Export Assistance (Training Provided): Learn, support, and gradually take ownership of export-related record keeping (such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, and Letter of Credit terms).

• Payment Realization: Assist in tracking international payment realizations, including coordinating the generation and management of eBRC documentation after proper internal training.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

• Software Proficiency: Solid hands-on working experience in Tally Prime or Tally ERP is mandatory.

• Accounting Knowledge: Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles, ledger reconciliation protocols, and statutory tax compliances (GST & TDS).

• Communication Skills: Good professional communication skills in English, with the ability to interact formally with foreign buyers and domestic vendors via email and telephone.

• Soft Skills: Extremely detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of maintaining highly accurate documentation under minimal supervision.

• Stakeholder Management: Capability to coordinate smoothly with internal teams, vendors, banks, CHAs, shipping lines, and transporters when required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (NOT MANDATORY)

Prior exposure to export accounting, export documentation, Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, export payment terms, or the eBRC submission process is an advantage but not a limitation for selection.
