Job Description
A CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Operate CNC machines to produce quality components, load raw materials, inspect finished parts, maintain machine cleanliness, and ensure production targets and safety standards are met.
- Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines
- Read engineering drawings and work instructions
- Measure and inspect parts using measuring tools
- Load/unload materials and tools
- Maintain production quality and machine safety
- Report machine issues or defects
- Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Attention to detail
- Measuring instrument handling
- Safety awareness
- QualificationITI/Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field preferred
- Experience with CNC machines is an advantage
