Job Title: CNC Machine Operator cum Programmer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator cum Programmer who can set up, operate, and program CNC machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires hands-on machining experience along with programming knowledge.

• Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC machines (Turning / Milling / VMC / HMC).
• Develop and modify CNC programs (G-code / M-code).
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining.
• Perform machine calibration and tool offset setting.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.).
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety standards.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in CNC operation and programming.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
• Experience with CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and materials.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (like AutoCAD, Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM).
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience in 3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis machining.
• Knowledge of CNC simulation software.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Lean manufacturing or process improvement knowledge.
