Senior Manager

Import–Export & Customs Compliance

• Manage and oversee end-to-end import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and port coordination.

• Ensure 100% compliance with DGFT, CBIC, Customs, and EXIM policies.

• Lead initiatives to obtain AEO certification, implement MOOWR (Manufacturing & Other Operations in Warehouse Regulation) scheme and IGCR (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate) compliance for duty benefits.

• Coordinate with CHA, customs officials, and DGFT for seamless clearance and regulatory updates.

• Develop and execute strategic supply chain to reduce lead time, mitigate risks, and increase operational efficiency.

• Design and implement alternate transportation routes and multimodal logistics plans to reduce freight, optimize delivery timelines.

• Identify and onboard strategic logistics partners and 3PL/4PL for global movement efficiency.

• Working Knowledge of Certifications like SIMS, NFMIMS, REEIMS etc

🔹 Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Build and manage a high-performance network of vendors, freight forwarders, CHAs, packaging, and transport partners.

• Negotiate commercial terms and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.

• Ensure vendor performance evaluation and corrective action mechanisms.

• Exim documentation workflows, LC Documentation Workflow, import-export MIS, and cost reporting.

• MOOWR & IGCR Compliance, Return filing and Data Management

• Moowr Clearance Inbond and ExBond

• Co-ordination with Sales, Logistics and Store for Speed up the Exbond Process

🔹 EPR & Sustainability Compliance

• Lead Plastic Waste EPR and E-Waste EPR registration, filing, and yearly reporting.

• Liaise with CPCB/SPCB for environmental compliance and drive sustainable handling initiatives across supply chain.
