Position-Technical Engineer / PLC Programmer
Department-Automation / Engineering
Location-GAJANAND IND. HUB-2,Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Engineer / PLC Programmer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, machine automation, and technical support for industrial projects.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot HMI and SCADA systems.
- Perform machine commissioning, testing, and debugging.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and control panel layouts.
- Integrate PLCs with sensors, drives, motors, and industrial equipment.
- Provide technical support during installation and maintenance activities.
- Diagnose automation and control system faults.
- Coordinate with production, electrical, and maintenance teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of PLC platforms such as:
- Siemens PLC
- Mitsubishi Electric PLC
- Allen-Bradley PLC
Delta Electronics PLC
- Experience with HMI/SCADA software.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning if required.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machine automation or process industries.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networking.
- Hands-on experience in control panel testing and commissioning.
