Junior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Drafting:

• Create electrical design, GA (General Arrangement), SLD (Single Line Diagram), wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD or EPLAN as per project scope.
• Ensure design compliance with IEC/IS/UL standards and customer specifications.

1. Component Selection:

• Select appropriate components (breakers, relays, PLCs, VFDs, meters, etc.) based on application and budget.
• Ensure correct sizing of switchgear, busbars, cables, and protection devices.

1. Coordination with Estimation & Production Teams:

• Work closely with estimation and sales teams to support technical queries.
• Coordinate with production and QA teams during panel assembly and testing phases.

1. Customer Interaction:

• Attend technical meetings or discussions with customers for design approvals.
• Incorporate client feedback into revised designs and drawings.

1. Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, terminal charts, and load schedules.
• Create BOM (Bill of Materials) and panel layout documents.
