Accountant

Job Description: Junior Accountant (Accounting, Taxation & Audit)We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and compliance team. This role is ideal for an early-career professional or a semi-qualified accountant looking to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of financial services, including ROC, GST, and multi-sector auditing.

Core Responsibilities

1. Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain accurate day-to-day books for Proprietorships, Partnership Firms, and Companies.

• Process accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely processing of PF (Provident Fund) and ESIC contributions.

2. Taxation & Compliance SupportGST: Assist in the preparation of data for GST registrations and monthly return filings.

• Income Tax: Help compile documentation for Income Tax returns and Tax Audits.
• ROC: Prepare basic documentation and forms for annual Registrar of Companies (ROC) compliance and company/LLP registrations.
• Import/Export: Support the team in maintaining accounting records and compliance for cross-border transactions.

3. Audit AssistanceParticipate in fieldwork for Statutory Audits and Tax Audits.

• Support senior auditors in Bank Audits (Concurrent, Revenue, and Stock Audits).
• Assist in gathering data and documentation for Due Diligence and Forensic Accounting assignments.

4. Finance & DocumentationOrganize and manage financial records, vouchers, and legal documents.

• Assist seniors in preparing documentation for Personal, Business, and Corporate Loans.
• Candidate ProfileEducation: Graduate in Commerce or semi-qualified professional (CA/CMA Inter).
• Experience: 0–2 years in an accounting firm or corporate finance department.
• Software Skills: Functional knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of Accounting Standards, GST concepts, and TDS.
• Attributes: High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and a desire to learn diverse regulatory frameworks.
