Job Description
Position: Area Sales Manager – Channel Sales
Reporting To: Business Head / Regional Head
Location: Assigned Territory (6–7 Districts)
Role Objective
The primary objective of this role is to build and manage a strong network of Channel Partners / DSAs and drive sales of financial products including Loans, Credit Cards, Insurance, and Wealth Products through the distribution network across the assigned territories. The role also includes ensuring end-to-end loan disbursement and managing a team of Sales Managers / Relationship Managers to achieve defined business targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Partner / DSA Acquisition
- Identify and onboard new DSAs / Channel Partners across the assigned territory
- Develop strong networks with Chartered Accountants, Loan Consultants, Property Dealers, and Insurance Advisors
- Ensure activation and productivity of onboarded partners
2. Financial Products Sales through Distribution Network
- Will be responsible for driving sales of financial products through the distribution network across the assigned territories
- Drive sourcing of Business Loans, Personal Loans, and Loan Against Property (LAP)
- Promote and cross-sell additional financial products such as Credit Cards, Insurance (Life & General), and other fintech offerings
3. Business Sourcing & Disbursement
- Manage the complete loan lifecycle from login to disbursement
- Ensure achievement of monthly targets in terms of both volume (₹) and number of cases
4. Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Managers / Relationship Managers
- Monitor daily activities including partner meetings, file logins, and conversions
- Conduct regular team reviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations
5. Partner Engagement & Activation
- Maintain strong relationships with channel partners through regular visits and engagement
- Drive activation of inactive partners
- Implement partner engagement initiatives, schemes, and incentive programs
6. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of partner onboarding, login volumes, and disbursement data
- Ensure strong pipeline visibility and tracking
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of active DSAs / Channel Partners
- Monthly login volumes and disbursement value
- Conversion ratio (login to disbursement)
- Team productivity and performance
- Revenue generated through cross-selling of financial products
Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in NBFC, Banking, Fintech, or DSA Channel Sales
- Strong experience in Business Loans and Personal Loans
- Proven track record in channel partner acquisition and team handling
Key Skills

- Good understanding of lending products and credit processes
