1. Project Planning & Execution

• Assist in planning and execution of logistics projects involving port handling, transportation, and delivery of cargo.
• Support preparation of project timelines, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to defined milestones.

2. Port & Multimodal Operations Support

• Gain exposure to port-based logistics including cargo handling, storage, and dispatch.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and warehouse teams for seamless cargo flow.
• Assist in managing multimodal transportation (road, rail, coastal shipping).

3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal departments (operations, marine, finance, procurement, and HSE).
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as clients, vendors, customs authorities, and port authorities.
• Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of project-related issues.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Support preparation and verification of logistics documentation (invoices, bills of lading, permits, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and safety requirements.
• Assist in project audits and documentation controls.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Track project performance metrics such as timelines, costs, and efficiency.
• Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports and project status updates.
• Analyze data to identify risks, delays, and improvement opportunities.

6. Cost Control & Optimization

• Assist in monitoring project costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Support negotiation and coordination with vendors under supervision.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in logistics efficiency.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Industrial / Logistics) OR
• MBA / PGDM in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience (Freshers preferred for Cadre
