Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure raw materials and components such as ABS/polycarbonate shells, EPS foam, visors, straps, buckles, padding, paints, decals, and packaging.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels in coordination with production planning and stores to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
  • Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply or quality discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Ensure procured materials meet quality and safety standards (relevant for BIS/ISI-certified helmet production).
  • Monitor market trends and raw material price movements to drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate with QC, production, and accounts for material inspection, GRN, and timely vendor payments.
  • Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and reports for management review.
