Job Description
- Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and developing reliable suppliers while conducting performance reviews based on quality and delivery.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Leading negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and contracts for high-value technical materials.
- Ordering & Logistics: Issuing Purchase Orders (POs), managing material delivery, and coordinating with logistics to prevent project delays.
- Quality Control: Ensuring procured materials meet technical standards, collaborating with quality assurance teams to resolve supplier issues.
- Cost Optimization: Analyzing spend data to implement strategies for cost savings and reduction in supply chain risks.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of transactions, contracts, and vendor performance.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience: Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor development, in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and technical schematics.
- Billing: Generating Invoices against PO and OA, E-way bills against material dispatches.
- Maintaining records of monthly sale & purchase data,TDS, credit & debit notes, and bank statement reconciliation.
