Service Engineer – Elevator Control Panel

Job Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of elevator control panels at customer sites.
• On-site servicing and maintenance of elevator control systems.
• Attend breakdown calls and provide timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control panel-related issues.
• Perform testing, parameter setting, and system verification.
• Diagnose faults in drives, controllers, encoders, and safety circuits.
• Coordinate with customers and service teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare service reports and maintain service records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during field work.
• Provide technical support to customers when required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of elevator control panels and elevator systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical and electronic circuits.
• Understanding of AC Drives, VFDs, motors, encoders, and sensors.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and emergency service calls.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
