Account Executive (Accounting)

Role & responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Ledger Maintenance: Record day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers, and manage petty cash.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Handle vendor payments, invoice processing, and follow up with clients for collections.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Statutory Compliance: Manage TDS, GST, PF, and professional tax compliance, including timely filing of returns.
• Auditing Support: Assist in internal, external, and tax audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software like Tally ERP or SAP for daily operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• Experience: Proven experience in accounting, generally 3-6 years.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Tally/SAP, and MS Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Communication: Effective interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (B.Com,).
